After BJP’s defeat in the Delhi Assembly elections, Cabinet Minister Ram Bilas Sharma said the party would review the reasons behind the party’s debacle. Most of the parties, including Congress, have joined hands with AAP to keep the BJP away.

He was here to chair the annual athletics meet at Delhi Public School here today. Before inaugurating the meet, the minister interacted with mediapersons at the PWD rest house and denied the debacle being the failure of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Arvind Kejriwal worked hard and I congratulate him for his victory. We have accepted the mandate given by the people of Delhi and will work hard,” said Ram Bilas.

He said the result of the Delhi Assembly elections would have no impact on the elections of Bihar and Punjab in the coming days.

He made it clear that there would be no hike in bus fare and the government would strictly implement the Right to Education Act in the schools.
