Aye Aye Captain!
Kangana Ranaut attended the opening ceremony of the International Fleet Review (IFR) in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh recently. She was the guest of honour for the event. Last year, the actress represented India on an International platform, when she was invited to be part of the Women in the World Summit, in London.
“The prestigious event, hosted by the Indian Navy, took place on Friday & Saturday (February 5 and 6). It was attended by several dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Monohar Parrikar. For the opening ceremony, Kangana shared the stage with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and the governor of Andhra Pradesh, ESL Narasimhan.
On the second day, Saturday, she was a part of the sailing event, where she sailed with PM Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee, among other dignitaries,” says a source close to Kangana.
It seems that Kangana had blocked her dates for this event four months back. “The mega event was also attended by nearly 10,000 officers and sailors, along with their families.”
