Ambala, January 15

A physical training instructor of SD School here allegedly thrashed a Class X student and his father.

The father, Baaga, alleged that the teacher had beaten up his son, Prince, over some issue on December 31, the last day before the school closed for the winter vacation. On January 12, when the school reopened, the father complained about the teacher’s “misbehaviour” to the school principal.

At this, the teacher objected and argued with both father and his son and allegedly beat them up.

Prince and his father sustained injuries on their forehead and they were taken to the Civil Hospital.

School principal Krishn Gopal denied the allegation. He claimed that Prince and his father had provoked the teacher and misbehaved with him. The police are yet to register a case against the teacher. — OC
