800 students awarded degrees at PU

Chandigarh, April 23

As many as 800 students, including 592 from UIET, Chandigarh, 107 from UIET, Hoshiarpur, and 161 from the SSB University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology (SSBUICET), Chandigarh, were awarded degrees at the law auditorium of Panjab University, Chandigarh.

Dr Satish Kumar, DS and Director General of the missiles and strategic system, DRDO, was the chief guest on the occasion. Shyamsundar Bang, Executive Director of Jubilant Life Sciences was the guest of honour.

The chief guest congratulated students for their success and wished them luck for future. PU Vice-Chancellor Arun Kumar Grover was also present on the occasion. The event ended on a high-note with the students overwhelmed by their achievements and hard work.
