Science department of the school conducted a special assembly on the theme—magnetism and aura. Students explained different types of magnets and their properties experimentally. It was followed by an exhibition of magnetic toys prepared by the students.

The mathematics department (junior wing) of the school organised a quiz ‘right on target’ for classes IV and V. The initiative aimed at providing students a platform to think and respond quickly, enhancing their mathematical skills to perform under stress in the competitive environment confidently. The rounds consisted of topics like Fractions, geometry, factors, multiples, numbers and numerations. Manveer Singh, Saumya, Thakur, Gurpreet Kaur and Daljeet Singh of Sahebjada Jujhar Singh House won the quiz. Principal Pritinder Kaur appreciated the students’ zeal and teachers’ efforts to initiate competitive spirit and providing fair chance to young participants.
Satluj Public School (Panchkula)
The school was awarded Excellence Award—2017 by Brainfeed. Principal Krit Serai received the award at a ceremony held in New Delhi. The award was for the best ICT implementation and sports education category. This year, the school has achieved five awards as amongst top in city, state and country.
