Patiala: Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala, organised a farewell party for final-year Bachelor of Commerce students in the multipurpose hall of the college. Principal Harminder Kaur presided over the function. Bhagwant Dhillon was adjudged Mr Bikram, while Jaspreet Kaur was declared as Miss Bikram. Ajay Anand was adjudged runner-up from boys and Harmandeep Kaur was runner-up from girls. Ekamjot was selected as Mr Handsome and Himani Taneja was Miss Gorgeous. Mr Smile title was given to Nikhil Kumar and Miss Smile went to Himanshi. Karan Arora was chosen as Mr Talent and Shareya Goyal was selected as Miss Talented.

World Asthma Day

Patiala: The Aryans Institute of Nursing (AIN), Patiala, organised a seminar to mark World Asthma Day on its campus. SMO Dr Ranjit Singh of AP Jain Hospital was the keynote speaker on the occasion. Students of ANM & GNM courses participated in the session. Dr Ranjit Singh discussed about various aspects, including causes, symptoms, precautions, preventive measures, etc., about the disease. Ranjit Singh said there were various allergens and irritants that could lead to asthma attacks. OC
