Ludhiana, October 9

A cricket academy has been inaugurated at GMT Public School, Jalandhar bypass branch, here yesterday.

Youngsters who aspire to learn the game of cricket and those intend to take the game as their career will find this academy as an appropriate centre with qualified coaches imparting training and coaching to the aspirants.

The opening of academy was accomplished under the guidance of Sudhir Tyagi, a consultant with Yuvraj Center of Excellence, Media and Foreign Exchange.

The academy was inaugurated by the school directors, Jasbir Singh Thind and Kashmir Singh Thind. Jasbir Singh said the academy would cater to the needs of students of nearby schools as well as others who felt absence of such facility in the area.

Principal Ravinder Kaur extended gratitude towards the school management for providing the facility on the school premises. The students of the school and other aspirants would be benefitted from this academy, she added.
