Ludhiana, January 20

Shiv Sena Samajwadi leader Vishal Madan and his supporters today took out a protest march from Dandi Swami road to Fountain Chowk against the firing incident at RSS shakha at Kadwai Nagar on January 18.

Heavy police was deployed to avoid any untoward incident following reports that Rohit, a Hindu radical leader, who had failed to burn the effigy of Dera Sacha chief Gurmit Ram Rahim yesterday, will again try to burn the Dera chief’s effigy.

However, no such incident took place.
