Joshi, while addressing mediapersons at the Press Club today, said despite the orders of the state government, the administration was not willing to give the land to the residents. Due to the indifferent attitude of the district administration, only 25 persons had been able to complete the formalities of land rights.

He said: “Many refugee families are living on the land of the Rehabilitation Department at Prem Nagar and the local administration is regularising their lands, but officers were harassing them for the past few years. We have talked to the Chief Minister and he has assured us of a solution.”

Manish Kumar Nagpal and Rajesh Pandey were present on the occasion.
