Jammu, April 8
The inter-department tournament in the disciplines of Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Carrom, Volleyball and Cricket got underway at the Jammu University’s gymnasium hall and cricket ground here today.
Prof Dhian S Bhau, chairman, campus sports committee, University of Jammu, inaugurated the tournament at the gymnasium hall. Dr Brij Baloria, Romesh Sharma, Jai Bharat, Goutam Sharma, Vikesh Sharma among others were present on the occasion.
Matches in the various disciplines were officiated by Sushil Kumar Sawhney, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Ravish Vaid, Vikas Karlopia, Gagan Kumar, Sadiq Hussain, Vijay Dogra and Jagtar Singh.
