The British School, Chandigarh, organised a farewell party, ‘Au Revoir’, for Class XII students. The event began with a prayer to seek blessings for the students, followed by observation of a two-minute silence in the memory of Pulwama bravehearts. Principal Mona Sethi wished the outgoing batch luck in their fututure endeavours.

Sacred Heart, Chandigarh

The Health Club of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, organised its annual exhibition, ‘The Art of Healthy Living’. An array of topics ranging from health, hygiene to safety of girl child was covered. Students came up with unique and creative calendars, brochures and bookmarks reminding us of simple ways of healthy living. Principal Nisha congratulated the mentors and members of the club.

Guru Harkrishan, Dera Bassi

Guru Harkrishan Public School held a farewell party to bid adieu to Class XII students. The programme started with shabad by Class XI students, followed by speeches. Parminder Singh and Rashandeep Kaur were declared Mr and Ms GHPS. Principal Charanpreet Kaur was also present on the occasion.

DC Model, Panchkula

DC Model School gave a fond send-off to Class X students. The day began with a havan ceremony, followed by a welcome song. Dance, music and laughter impressed one and all. The best student boy and most versatile girl titles were bagged by Milind and Inayat Kapoor. Rajveer and Bhavika clinched the Mr Handsome and Ms Charming titles.

Jainendra Public, Panchkula

Jainendra Public School, Panchkula, observed a two-minute silence to pay homage to the CRPF soldiers who were killed in the Pulwama terrorist attack. Students also took out a candle march. Principal Saroj Sharma encouraged the students to remain united for peace and harmony of the country.

Manav Rachna, Mohali

Green Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Manav Rachna International School, Mohali. Toddlers and staff came in green attire. Several activities and games pertaining to the colour of the day were organised for the little ones.

 Blue Bird, Sector 16, Panchkula 

An investiture ceremony was organised at Blue Bird High School, Sector 16 , Panchkula. The Director conferred badges on the newly elected members of the student council. Ayushmaan and Simran took over the charge from the outgoing head boy and head girl and extended thanks to teachers and students for reposing faith in their capability. Principal Vandna Bhatnagar congratulated the newly elected cabinet. 

GN Holy Heart, Chandigarh

 A workshop on good parenting was held at GN Holy Heart Public (Smart) School, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Resource person Indu Agarwal gave several tips on improving children with love and logic and how to help them in their studies.
