Public library comes up at Haryana Urdu Akademi
Panchkula, September 20
Dr KP Singh, DG, Haryana State Vigilance Bureau, and Sameer Pal Srow, DG, Information, Public Relations and Languages, inaugurated a public library at the Haryana Urdu Akademi here today.
A seminar on ‘Urdu Aur Hindi Ka Lisani (Bhashayi) Rishta’ was also organised in which various scholars of Hindi and Urdu language such as Sheen Kaaf Nizam, Vigyan Vrat, Athar Farooqui, Madhav Kaushik and Habeeb Saifi participated.
In the library, people can read historical, political, literary, social, spiritual, critical and research books as well as Hindi and Urdu papers from all over the country. They also went around the library and took a look on the books published by the akademi.
Adbi Markaz and Art gallery on the name of former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee was also inaugurated. Apart from this, six books were also released on the occasion. — TNS
