30 attend clay-modelling workshop

The Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR), in collaboration with Chandigarh Lalit Kala Academy, Chandigarh, organised a clay modelling workshop on the concluding day of art and design workshop for children of Snehalaya, Maloya, Chandigarh.

On the concluding ceremony, Bheem Malhotra, president, Chandigarh Lalit Kala Academy, was the chief guest. Sanjeet Kumar and Jyoti, young sculptors of tricity, were the resource persons for the event. They gave a demonstration on clay modelling to the children. Children created beautiful figures, models, landscapes and objects. Looking at the talent of the children, Bheem offered them to introduce and give opportunity at major workshops so that they got exposure and could excel in their skills. As many as 30 children of Snehalaya participated in the workshop.
