Sacred Heart 

A seven-day NSS camp organised at Sacred Heart School, Chandigarh, culminated on Wednesday. Volunteers celebrated Christmas with children of Parmarth, an NGO. Gifts and woollen clothes were presented to the underprivileged. Various activities such as cleaning of the campus, yoga sessions and self-defence classes were undertaken by the volunteers. Rachan Roy, chairperson, Parmarth, and Satbir Singh, sarpanch of Shashtri Nagar, the adopted village, presided over the closing ceremony and gave certificates and prizes to the volunteers.

AKSIPS-41 Smart School, Chandigarh, organised a show and tell competition for Nursery students to hone their speaking skills. Students brought soft toys, fruits and vegetables and spoke a few lines on the objects.
