Naveen Bansal continued to be at sole lead at the end of sixth round in the ongoing 28th Chandigarh Chess Championship, at Dr. Ambedkar Bhawan, Sector 37, today. Bansal is leading the event with 5½ points and is closely followed by Tarini Goyal, who ended the day on five points. The championship was being organised by Chandigarh Chess Association to select a team of four players to represent Chandigarh in the forthcoming National Challenger Chess Championship to be held at Gujarat, from August 13 to 23. Prateek Wadhwa, Levanshu Khullar, Vipan Negi, Nitin and Rahul finished the day at joint third.
