A function was organised at Moti Ram Arya School, Sector 27-A. The objective behind the function was to promote the all-round development of students by creating bond between teachers, parents and others associated with the school. 

PML SD Public, Chandigarh

Priya of Class IX won the first prize in Max Little Icon Drawing Competition and was awarded a trophy, cycle and a certificate. She also bagged the first prize in another drawing competition organised to celebrate Environment Day and was awarded a trophy, dinner set and a certificate.

Carmel Convent, Chandigarh

The annual general meeting of the parent-teacher association (PTA) was held at the school auditorium. Jaspreet Grewal, PTA Secretary, began the proceedings with a welcome address which was followed by a prayer and a hymn. Principal Sr Supreeta shared the annual report, including the board result, and congratulated all present on the performance by the school.

Sacred Souls’, Kharar

Around 50 NCC volunteers from Sacred Souls’ School carried out a rally in Gharuan village. The community outreach programme was taken out to sensitise people on the ongoing nationwide water crises. Children held posters and slogans with important messages.

An orientation for parents was organised at Brilliance World School, Panchkula. During the session, principal Niranjana Chatterjee interacted with parents to create awareness regarding changes in the education system to bring about more flexibility in the system and encourage individualistic learning.

Gian Jyoti, Mohali

Gian Jyoti Global School, Mohali, welcomed its Class XI students during an induction-cum-orientation held at its campus in Mohali Phase-II. More than 150 students and their parents attended the orientation and got an insight into the new educational journey at Gian Jyoti Global School. Gian Jyoti School Principal presided over the session. On the occasion, nine meritorious students of Gian Jyoti Global School, who have scored 90 per cent or more, were also felicitated for their performance in Class XII board exams. TNS
