“Yes, I have been granted the voting rights. I am happy that my contribution towards the sport is being appreciated,” said Mongia.

These cricketers have been made PCA’s voting members as per the recommendations of the Lodha Committee, claimed a source.

Mongia, 42, played 57 ODIs for India between March 2001 and May 2007 and scored 1,230 runs at an average of 27.95.

He also represented India in a T20I against South Africa in December 2006, besides playing 121 First-Class matches.
