Manav Mangal tops Panchkula

Attaining the distinction, 101 (45.9 per cent) students at Manav Mangal School, Panchkula, scored a perfect 10, which is the highest number from a school in the Class X CBSE examinations in the district. As many as 101 students scored 10 CGPA (cumulative grade point average). A total of 220 students of the school had appeared for the Class X examinations.
Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 15, claimed the second position in the district with 37.9 per cent of its students scoring 10 CGPA. Of 211 students, who had appeared for the examinations, 80 scored 10 CGPA.Satluj Public School, Sector 4, claimed the third position in Panchkula district with 33.2% of students getting 10 CGPA.
“The results are the outcome of the hard work of students and teachers. Our school has always been strong in academics. We encourage our children to take up sports as well,” said Sandeep Sardana, director, Manav Mangal School.
Meanwhile, Gulshan Kaur, principal, Bhavan Vidyalaya said, “The outstanding performance in the examinations is the result of the joint efforts put in by the focused, hardworking students, motivated faculty and supportive parents. I wish students all the best for their future endeavors.”
Besides, DAV School, Sector 8; Bluebird High School, Sector 16; Brilliance School, Sector 12; St Teresa Convent School; British School; Holy Child School and many other in the district attained 100 pass percentage. — TNS
