KB DAV, Chandigarh
A capacity-building workshop for primary and secondary teachers of Hindi, Punjabi and Sanskrit was conducted at KB DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Chandigarh. Around 22 teachers attended the training session. A valedictory ceremony was also held wherein master trainers and teacher participants were felicitated by the cluster head and Principal Jaskiran Harika.
Brillance World, Panchkula
The second batch of summer camp concluded at Brilliance World School. Certificates were distributed among participants. Students utilised the summer vacation by learning various creative skills related to art and craft, music, dance, animation, martial arts and swimming. The outstanding performers in various activities included Pranjal Sharma Aarav Arora, Udayvir Singh (art and craft), Vaidehi Sharma, Sarthak Garg, Aarav Arora, Piyush Mahajan (swimming), Harnoor Pruthi , Pranjal Sharma (dance), and Ryansh Bansal , Ayan Bansal (animation), Pranjal Sharma,Vivaan (skating).

Bhavya of Class VI has won the gold medal in the 34th Chandigarh state sub-junior men boxing championship held at Sports Complex, Boxing Hall, Sector 42.
DAV PUBLIC, CHANDIGARH
A capacity building workshop on content enrichment in physics for senior secondary teachers was held at DAV Public School, Sector 8-C, Chandigarh. The resource persons were Arvita Kaur, PGT Physics, KBDAV, and Anjali Jaiswal, PGT Physics (HPS-6).
DAV Police Public, Panchkula
DAV Police Public School, Police Lines, Panchkula, conducted a capacity-building workshop. As many as 57 participants from seven DAV schools were part of the workshop. Trainers laid emphasis on sharpening the knowledge and skills of the participants. The workshop concluded with a valedictory session and certificates were given to the participants by the school Principal.
Shemford Futuristic, Pinjore
Students of Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, went for a 10-day educational tour to the United States of America. They spent the first two days at the Kennedy Space Centre. The students also visited Disney Land and Universal Studios in Orlando, Statue of Liberty, the 9/11 memorial and the World Trade Centre in New York. tns
