Innerwheel Club gets new president

During installation ceremony of Innerwheel Club, Panchkula, Anupama Jain took charge of the president on Sunday. District chairman Seema Chopra was the chief guest on the occasion. Her team includes secretary Savita Jindal, vice-president Sween Goyal, joint secretary Meenakshi Anand, treasurer Kaveri Mehta, ISO Kusum Seengal and Editor Sunanda Sood.

Fifteen new members were inducted into the club on the occasion. Under the motto of “Caring women and girls” a scholarship of Rs 20,000 was given to two girls of Ashiana Homes. Besides, expenses of dylasis of a needy person were borne by club members. Innerwheel Bagiya, a fund raising project, was also inaugurated during the function.

Innerwheel Association president Mamta Gupta gave a mission “Make India orphan free” during the ceremony. A dance was presented by children of Ashiana Homes on the theme.
