Harinder Pal Sandhu registered an 11-9 14-12 7-11 11-9 win over top seed Piedro Schweertman of the Netherlands to storm into the South Australian Open final in Adelaide on Friday.

With today’s victory, the third seed Sandu is on the threshold of winning his eighth PSA title. Mohali lad and former national champion took an early lead before conceding a game. However, he downed the Dutch in the fourth game to set the title clash with Rhys Dowling. — TNS
