Showing high spirits, cancer survivors and patients presented a group dance and participated in a ramp walk in a special programme ‘Hope Fight Cure for Cancer Survivor Patients’ at Sohana’s Sri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Charitable Hospital, here.

During the event, the cancer patients walked on the ramp, sang songs and performed group dance on stage, along with doctors and staff. Apart from this, the nursing staff of the hospital also presented a play regarding myths of cancer and its treatment.

The cancer survivors also shared their experiences with the audience and encouraged the patients to fight with the disease with hope and positive mind. Chief guest, Mohali Deputy Commissioner Gurpreet Kaur Sapra also lauded their effort. —TNS
