Resplendent show by Tribune School students

Chandigarh, November 30
As many as 198 prodigious students of Tribune Model School brought alive the rich Indian culture, replete with ancient ethical wisdom, through absorbing acts during the annual musical presentation — ‘Pulkit- the Tales of Sunshine’ — at Tagore Theatre here on Friday.
The programme was conceptualised by Chand Nehru and translated to reality by director Vijay Kumar, supported by school teachers and Principal Vandana Saxena. The little artistes defined the advent of Kali Yuga through a short act in which Lord Krishna discloses the profound truth. Another act on parenting reflected the confusing and hypocrite society, besides a poignant life of Helen Keller, who had connection with the outside world but Anne Sullivan’s love transformed her life. An example of positivity in all situations was illustrated in an episode from Mahatma Gandhi’s life. The yogasans presented to perfection won applause, along with ‘Dashavatar’ portraying ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu.
The music during the show, especially chorus singing by 22 students, remained lifeline of the production. The event was graced by Justice SS Sodhi, Bonny Sodhi, Jagat, Dr BN Goswamy, Anil Nehru and Chand Nehru, Maya Gaitonde and other dignitaries.
