Anandita Sharma wrapped her impressive run with a convincing win over Radha Sadhra in the girls’ U-14 final on the concluding day of the Roots-AITA Talent Series (TS-7) National Ranking Tennis Tournament at Zirakpur today. The second seed drubbed Radha 6-0 6-1 to clinch the title.
In the girls’ U-16 competition, top seed Bhumika Gupta lived up to her reputation as she packed off Sidhak Kaur 6-4 6-1 to claim the title.
The boys’ U-16 title went to Yashvardhan Gaur. He registered a 6-2 7-5 win over Kartik Sunil Kumar in the final.
Umang Singh dismissed Kanvarpreet Singh in the boys’ U-14 title clash. He won 6-1 6-0.
Kanvarpreet, though, combined with Kartik Sunil Kumar to win the boys’ U-16 doubles title. The duo humbled Arnav Malik and Gurustat Singh 6-3 6-4 in the final.
