Aditi Singh overwhelmed Jyotsana Yadav in straight sets to clinch the girls' U-16 title on the concluding day of the Roots-AITA National Ranking Tennis Championship here today.

Aditi faced a stiff challenge from Jyotsana in the opening set before she took the lead with a 7-6 win. However, she dismissed her opponent 6-1 in the second set to race to the title.  

The boys' U-16 title went to Pranay Choudhary after he handed a 6-1 6-1 drubbing to Nishank Thakur in the final.

Amandeep Singh Baha, meanwhile, came from behind to beat Uddayvir Singh in the boys' U-18 final.

Baha lost the opening set 1-6, but came back strongly to win the next two sets 6-2 6-2 to clinch the title.

Uddayvir, however, combined well with Abhay Mohan to claim the boys' U-18 doubles championship. The duo humbled Parveen and Yuvraj Kooka  7-5 6-2 in the final.
