Achievers awarded at Army Institute of Law

Chandigarh, April 28
The Army Institute of Law (AIL) celebrated its annual day with fervour here on Saturday.
Several events were organised to mark the occasion. Lt Gen GS Dhillon, Chief of Staff, Western Command, and patron AIL was the chief guest at the event.
The annual report was presented by Dr Tejinder Kaur, Principal, AIL. A cultural show was also put up by the students.
The Army Commander’s trophy for the best all-rounder student of the year was bagged by Pooja Kapoor (V year). Cash awards worth Rs 2.5 lakh were given to the students who brought laurels to the institute by participating in national and international events such as moot courts, debates, sports and cultural activities. In addition, industry and alumni scholarship worth Rs 1.40 lakh were awarded to the academic toppers.
