DLF’s KP Singh richest realtor worth Rs 23,460 crore

Delhi-based tycoon Kushal Pal Singh (86) of DLF is the real estate king of India. He tops the list of the country’s real estate barons with a wealth of Rs 23,460 crore.
According to a Grohe Hurun report, Mumbai-based Mangal Prabhat Lodha from Lodha group in the second place with wealth of Rs 18,610 crore followed by Bengaluru-based Jithendra Virwani from Embassy Property Developments at third position with a wealth of 16,700 crore. Smitha V Crishna (66) of Godrej Properties is the richest woman with a fortune of Rs 2,210 crore and three cities, namely Mumbai, New Delhi and Bengaluru are home to 73% of this list.
Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru are the top cities in this real estate rich list and Hurun India rich list with 34 individuals in real estate list.
There are five billionaires in GROHE Hurun India real estate rich list 2017 and the Menda family owns and runs RMZ Corp, the most valuable commercial space developer in South India, valued at Rs 19,230 crore with average wealth of India real estate rich list 2017 being Rs 1,867 crore.
Incidentally, 60% of the list are first generation entrepreneurs and 63% in the list are residential developers, the rest being commercial, hospitality and retail real estate developers.
