Bathinda, September 30

The annual prize distribution-cum-cultural programme was organised at SSD Girls College, Amrik Singh Road, on Saturday. The event started with Saraswati Vandana and a welcome song sung by school students.

As many as 350 students of the school participated in various cultural and dance performances during the event. Classical dance, Rajasthani dance and Punjabi folk song performances enthralled all. A religious play showcasing friendship of Lord Rama and Hanuman was also presented.

Sharda Bansal, principal of the school, read out the annual report that highlighted achievements of the school.
