MALOUT: The Railway Board has appointed senior BJP leader Rakesh Dhingra as member of the Divisional Rail User Consultative Committee, Ferozepur Division, for the second time.

The Railway Board has appointed senior BJP leader Rakesh Dhingra as member of the Divisional Rail User Consultative Committee, Ferozepur Division, for the second time.

A native of Mohlan village in Malout subdivision of Muktsar district, Dhingra has served as BJP president of Muktsar district. He is presently in-charge of the party’s Bathinda (Rural) unit. He said some names sent from the state by railway officials were accepted by the Railway Ministry. He thanked all senior party leaders.

“I will work for the welfare of railway passengers and raise their issues in meetings with railway officials. This is my second tenure as member of the railway committee,” said Dhingra. — TNS
