The Punjab School Education Board organised state-level co-curricular academic competitions in Mohali. The winning students of various zonal-level competitions participated at the state level.

Students of Baba Farid Public Senior Secondary School, Bathinda, bagged first, second and third positions by showcasing their talent in competitions, including ‘Sundar Likhai’, general knowledge and giddha.

In the first category (primary level) competitions, Rohit Kumar bagged the third position and won bronze medal in ‘Sundar Likhai’.

In the second category (middle level) competitions, Dharamveer Singh got the first position in general knowledge while Harnoor Kaur and group also won the first position in giddha.

The giddha team of the school has been winning for the past five years. Students of the institution got total 12 medals, including 11 gold and 1 bronze.

Amitoz Dhaliwal, director, administration, Baba Farid Group of Institutions, (BFGI) and Dr Amanat Dhaliwal, executive director, BFGI, congratulated the principal of the school, teachers and students for the victory.

Principal Daljeet Singh Sidhu also congratulated the winners and thanked the parents of the winning students for their contribution in these achievements.
