Baba Farid College alumni meet, recall old memories

Students and faculty members organised alumni meet of various courses at Baba Farid College, Bathinda. Students of BSc (non-medical), BSc (medical), BSc (agriculture), BSc (biotechnology), BSc (computer science), BSc (CSM) and BCA arrived in large numbers to attend the meet.
The programme was inaugurated by heads of various departments and alumni members. Department heads were warmly welcomed by former students. The purpose behind the meet was to involve former students in supporting and promoting the mission and goals of the college.
During the alumni meet, a presentation related to memories of old days of the college was given to alumni. On the occasion, former students shared their experiences and memories of college life and greatly appreciated the contribution of the college in the development of their personality. Fun games were also arranged for students in which all students took part. In addition, alumni showcased their talent through various activities.
Pardeep Kaura, deputy director (academics) of the BFGI, shared his life experiences with alumni students and also guided and motivated them to continue their higher studies.
Principal Dr Jaya Ashish Sethi gave information about training courses offered by the college to improve the knowledge and skills of students. During his address, he urged the alumni to take part in the ongoing research projects at the college to develop professional acumen.
Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal, chairman of the BFGI, appreciated the efforts of the college and the hard work by the Alumni Association for making the event successful.
