NEET: Students find physics part tough

Most of the students, who appeared for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) to bag seats in medical colleges on Sunday, said they found the physics section quite tough. The examination started at 10 am and concluded at 1 pm. As many as 3,152 students appeared for the test and 209 were absent.
As per the guidelines, the students were not allowed to carry their handbags, wallets, goggles, belts, caps among other items at the exam centres. Majority of the students found physics portion tough as compared to chemistry and biology.
A student, Narmata Kushwa, said, “The physics section difficult and the rest two were fine.”
There were some students who said that the paper was easy as compared to their expectation. Vishaldeep Singh said, “It was an easy examination. I had expected a tougher one.”
Punjab had three centres and Amritsar was one of them. The other two centres were in Jalandhar and Bathinda.
Anxious parents could be seen waiting for their wards. Even the students from nearby cities had also come to attempt the examination.
Dharamvir Singh, city coordinator of National Eligibility Entrance Test examination and principal of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, said, “There were seven exam centres in the city. The examination went peacefully in all of them.”
