Khalsa College overall champs in youth festival

The Zonal Youth Festival of Educational Colleges concluded here today at Dasmesh Auditorium of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU).

Khalsa College of Education, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar took away the overall champion trophy while Khalsa College of Education, Amritsar, was the runners up. MGN College of Education, Jalandhar, stood third in the youth festival.

Prof TS Banipal, director, research, presided over the valedictory function. Dr Rajesh Kalia, deputy registrar (general), was the guest of honor on the occasion.

Prof Banipal congratulated Dr Jagjit Kaur, director, youth welfare, for successfully organising the youth festival.

Prof Banipal, Dr Kalia and Dr Jagjit Kaur presented trophies to the winners. Dr Jagjit Kaur also honoured guests with mementos.
