Hamirpur: At the first cultural night of Holi Utsav, a 3D laser show was the main attraction in Sujanpur. The laser show was about the rich culture and other important events that took place in the district. Punjabi singer Lakhwinder Wadali enthralled the audience with his performance. He doled out hit numbers — “Tujhe takya toh, Tere Ishq nachaya”, “Charkha”, “Akhiyan Udeek diyan” and “Nitt Khair manga”.

  • Earlier, folk nati and giddha artistes delighted the audience. Transport Minister Govind Thakur was the chief guest. He said the government was committed to preserving and promoting the rich culture of the state. 
  • A rangoli-making competition was also organised. Over 70 women in 10 groups participated in the competition. Shikha’s group won the first prize, while Nisha and team won the second prize. — OC
