Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre organised its second annual cultural fest, ‘ANUGOONJ 2024’, last night, celebrating a vibrant blend of tradition, creativity and community spirit.

Dr Ashish Gulia, Director of the centre, inaugurated the event. Mohali Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain was the chief guest and Dr AK Atri, Director-Principal of Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh, the guest of honour at the event.

Praising the hospital staff, Jain said, “Events like ANUGOONJ 2024 create lasting memories and foster a sense of unity and teamwork, which significantly enhances our efficiency at work.” She reminisced her training days in Mussoorie, highlighting the spirit of cooperation and friendship among colleagues. “We were always taught the importance of mutual support, as it multiplies efforts and allows everyone to deliver their best capabilities,” she said.

Dr Atri said, “In the near future, the hospital is set to become an exclusive cancer care centre.”
