New Delhi, February 9

In a recent development, Devesh Chandra Srivastava, an IPS officer from the 1995 AGMUT cadre will be coming to Delhi, according to an order of the Ministry of Home Affairs. However, his charge will be assigned later. He was earlier the DGP in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Madhup Kumar Tiwari, IPS officer from the 1995 batch, will take the role of DGP Chandigarh and Surendra Singh Yadav, IPS officer from 1997 batch, has been transferred as DGP, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Yadav was earlier the Special Commissioner of Police (CP) of Economic Offences Wing (EOW) while Tiwari was Special CP (Law and Order Zone-II).
