VC releases documentary on GNDU botanical garden

Prof Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice-Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University, on Tuesday released a documentary film and pictorial art work titled “Peacock’s Serenade – Nature’s Elegance in Botanical Garden of GNDU” depicting visuals of serene landscapes and picturesque vistas portraying peacock in and around the botanical garden of Guru Nanak Dev University.

While releasing the documentary film and pictorial art, nature artist and former Additional Advocate General Punjab Harpreet Sandhu, the VC said this work was created with the aim of instilling a sense of pride and belonging in the faculty members, students and visitors. “Nature has blessed our state with colours of every season and beauty of nature around us is one of the greatest blessings of God. We have tried to appreciate and conserve the natural flora and fauna on the campus with our green initiatives and peacocks found inside the botanical garden of GNDU are a sight to behold,” he said.
