Guru Nanak Dev Academy hosted a ‘Kirtan Darbar’ to commemorate the auspicious Gurpurab of Sri Guru Ramdas Ji, the fourth Guru of Sikhs. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from various schools in the area.

Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School,Tarn Taran, clinched the top honour by winning the first prize, among 16 schools. The winning team was awarded a trophy and a cash prize.

President of local committee and member incharge S Harjit Singh said such programmes were necessary to promote Sikh values and culture. He congratulated all the winners. Vice-president of the local committee and member incharge Gurinder Singh added that the event showcased the rich heritage of Sikhs.

Principal Satwant Singh Bains expressed pride in his students’ achievement, stating that success reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing talent and promoting Sikh values.
