The ticket checking teams of the division conducted intensive ticket checking in trains to curb ticketless and irregular travels to provide comfortable travel and better services to genuine rail users. During ticket checking in trains during August 22,242 passengers were found travelling without tickets and nearly Rs two crore was recovered from them as fine. Frequent surprise ticket checking campaigns were held to prevent unauthorised entry of passengers in trains.

To keep the railway stations of the division clean and to prevent people from littering, regular inspections were conducted at the main stations of the division. As a result, over Rs 79,000 were recovered from 476 passengers as fine for littering the station (Anti-Littering Act). Additionally, cleanliness campaigns were also run from time to time to make railway passengers aware of the importance of cleanliness.
