Deputy Chief Minister of Penang state of Malaysia Jagdeep Singh Deo along with his wife Milinda and brother Dr Kuldeep Singh Deo visited the holy city on Monday. The foreign dignitary was received by Sanjeev Sharma, Principal, Government ITI, here on behalf of the district administration.
Jagdeep Singh and his family visited the Golden Temple to pay their obeisance. During the visit, they took blessings of the Almighty and prayed for the well-being of the entire humanity.
Later, they also visited Saheeda Sahib Gurdwara and Darbar Sahib at Tarn Taran. The visiting dignitaries were honoured with a siropa at the religious places. They also visited the Attari-Wagah border to watch the retreat ceremony in the evening.
