Members of the Sikh community attended the congregation in large numbers. Bhai Gurpreet Singh Moga performed Kirtan, while Gyani Harjit Singh (Kathawachak, Gurdwara Ber Sahib, Sultanpur Lodhi) captivated the congregation with his thoughts on Gurmat. Baba Sukha Singh also enthralled the audience with Kirtan. Addressing the gathering, he said that over the last two decades, a large number of Punjabis have settled in Canada, including students and young workers, and more families are likely to migrate in future. Hence, it is crucial to connect the new generation with both Punjabi language and Gurmat teachings.
