Guru Harkrishan school students win gold, silver in taekwondo event

The students of Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Chabal, excelled in the district-level 68th Punjab School Games.
School principal Anureet Bawa said that the school Under-14 team won the first place in taekwondo in which Abhijot Singh, Arshdeep Singh and Gurshan Singh won gold medals. Sahajpreet Singh won silver in taekwondo and in U-17 category, Anurag Sharma, Sanampreet Singh, Ekamdeep Singh and Gurnishan Singh won silver.
Chandpreet Singh, Ajaypal Singh, Sahilpreet Singh, Anmolpreet Singh and Kunwarpratap Singh participated in the U-19 volleyball matches and won gold. Members in-charge of the school, Manjit Singh Dhillon, Adarshpinder Singh Mann, Ajitpal Singh Aneja and school principal Anureet Bawa congratulated the students and encouraged them to work hard and perform well in sports.
