Four trains cancelled, many short terminated in Amritsar

Four trains were cancelled for the current week and several others were short originated, short terminated and diverted today. The train movement was affected at the Amritsar railway station after initiation of redevelopment work at the Jalandhar cantonment railway station.

The trains cancelled include Amritsar to Nangal Dam from September 30 to October 9, Nangal Dam to Amritsar from September 30 to October 9, Ludhiana to Chheharta from September 30 to October 9 and Chheharta to Ludhiana from September 30 to October 9.

Rescheduled trains include 22429 Old Delhi to Amritsar from September 30 to October 9, 14617 Puran Court to Amritsar from September 29 to October 8, 12317 Kolkata to Amritsar from October to 2 October 6, 12357 Kolkata to Amritsar from October 5 to October 8, up and down pair of Jayanagar to Amritsar from September 29 to October 8, 11057 from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Amritsar from September 28 to October 7, 12379 from Sealdah to Amritsar on October 4, 04651 Jayanagar to Amritsar on October 4, October 6, and October 8, 14615 Lalkuan to Amritsar on October 5, 04653 New Jalpaiguri to Amritsar on October 4, 18104 Amritsar to Tata Nagar on October 4 and October 9, Amritsar to Gorakhpur on October 3, Amritsar to Chhapra on October 5, Amritsar to Gorakhpur on October 6, Amritsar to Saharsa on October 2 and October 9.

Trains to be short terminated include New Delhi to Amritsar from September 30 to October 9 at Phagwara, New Delhi to Amritsar from September 30 to October 5 at Ludhiana, Saharsa to Amritsar from September 29 to October 6 at Chandigarh, Kanpur Central to Amritsar from September 30 to October 7 at Ambala Cantt.

Trains to be short originated include Amritsar to New Delhi from September 30 to October 9 at Phagwara, Amritsar to New Delhi from September 30 to October 9 at Ludhiana, Amritsar to Saharsa from September 30 to October 7 at Chandigarh, Amritsar to Kanpur Central from October 1 to October 5 at Ambala Cantt.

Trains to be diverted include Katihar to Amritsar from September 29 to October 7 via Ludhiana, Phillaur, Nakodar and Jalandhar city skipping stoppage at Phagwara, Kochuveli to Amritsar on October 2 via Ludhiana, Phillaur, Nakodar, Jalandhar city, skipping Jalandhar city, Ajmer to Amritsar on October 3 and October 5 via Ferozepur Cantt, Lohian Khas, Kapurthala and Jalandhar city, skipping Talwandi Bhai, Moga, Jagraon, Ludhiana and Phagwara, Amritsar to New Jalpaigudi on October 2 and October 9 via Jalandhar city, Nakodar, Phillaur and Ludhiana, besides Amritsar-Jaynagar on October 2, October 4, October 6 and October 9 via Jalandhar city, Nakodar, Phillaur and Ludhiana.
