The Border Security Force (BSF) and the Punjab Police recovered a drone and a packet of heroin from a field in Nestha village in the border belt of Amritsar district today.
Acting on information of the intelligence wing regarding presence of a narco-drone in the border area, the BSF and the Punjab Police personnel carried out an extensive search operation in the area.
At 3.45 pm, they successfully recovered one drone along with one packet suspected of containing heroin (gross weight 570 gm).

The packet was wrapped in a yellow adhesive tape and a metal wire ring was also attached to it. The recovered drone was identified as China-made DJI Mavic 3 Classic, said the BSF authorities.
