Identified as Kashmir Singh alias Sheeru of Hansawala village in Goindwal Sahib, he was injured following retaliatory firing by the raiding police team. According to police, he was wanted in several cases of bank dacoity in Amritsar, Tarn Taran and Sultanpur Lodhi areas. He was currently admitted to the Guru Nanak Dev Hospital for treatment.
