Attack on Shiv Sena leader in Ludhiana flayed

Strongly condemning the attack on a Shiv Sena leader in Ludhiana on Friday, MP from Amritsar Gurjeet Singh Aujla has called it a failure of the state government. He said the pathetic law and order situation in the state is responsible for this. It has been observed that there is no fear of law in the minds of criminals.

MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla said the government should take strict action in this matter. “Whatever has happened is very wrong. If anyone has any problem or trouble with anyone, then he should register a complaint with the police under the Constitution and not go out to punish him himself. This is a huge failure of the government in which the fear of law is missing from the minds of people, which is very threatening,” he said.

He said Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is busy in getting the by-election done with the entire Cabinet, but is ignoring his responsibility towards the state. “The law and order situation has deteriorated and such incidents are happening continuously, hence the government should take strict action and ensure the safety of people,” said the MP.
