Alampur school marks annual day with cultural extravaganza
DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Alampur, celebrated its annual day with a vibrant cultural extravaganza, showcasing the talented students’ academic, cultural and extracurricular achievements.
The event, themed ‘Abhinandan’, was attended by students, parents, teachers, LMC members, school manager Dr VK Yadav, and guests including AYUSH, Youth Services, Sports and Law Minister Yadvinder Goma, who was the chief guest at the event.
Principal Bikram Singh welcomed the gathering, and highlighted the school’s accomplishments. He expressed gratitude to the students, teachers and parents for their hard work and dedication.
The programme commenced with a mesmerizing performance, followed by a spectacular display of music, dance and drama.
Students from various grades presented dances, skits and songs, reflecting the diversity of cultures.
Academic achievers and winners of inter-school competitions were felicitated with awards and certificates. Top achievers were congratulated.
Goma praised the school’s efforts in fostering holistic education and encouraged students to pursue their passion. The chief guest said he was impressed by the talent and confidence displayed by the students.
In his vote of thanks, the principal expressed gratitude to the guests, parents and staff for their support.
“This annual day celebration is a testament to the strong bonds we’ve forged as a school community,” Singh said. The event concluded with a dazzling fireworks display, leaving the audience in awe. The function was a grand success with the tireless efforts of all stakeholders.
