AKSIPS-65 Smart School, Mohali, celebrates Gandhi Jayanti

The school celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with a special assembly to honour Mahatma Gandhi’s and Lal Bahadur Shastri’s birth anniversary. The event kicked off with Gandhi’s favourite bhajan, ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’, setting the tone for a meaningful tribute. The assembly highlighted the Father of the Nation’s vision and teachings. The contribution of Lal Bahadur Sashtri’s was highlighted, followed by the Swacchta Pledge. The students and staff vowed to uphold cleanliness. The assembly concluded with a unified rendition of the national anthem. Class VI students showcased their creativity by participating in a poster-making competition. Classes VII and VIII participated in a peace march to mark the International Day of Non-Violence. Associate Director, Academics, Parnika Singh and Principal Rajminder Kaur Jaitla encouraged students to embody non-violence and tolerance.
