The Adviser to the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Pawan Kotwal, chaired a meeting to review the progress of developmental projects of various departments being executed by the Central Public Works Department (CPWD).

During the meeting, the Director of Finance, Safdar Ali, briefed the Adviser about the budget allocations provided to various departments to execute developmental works through the CPWD.

Kotwal emphasised the need to expedite budget allocation processes and directed the CPWD to ensure that projects are completed within the set timeframes. He also instructed the concerned departments to properly use the funds, ensuring they are effectively utilised to complete the developmental works.

The Adviser emphasised the importance of collective efforts to ensure transparency, accountability and efficiency in the utilisation of resources. He stressed that every rupee spent must contribute meaningfully to the holistic development of Ladakh.
