Addressing issues of industrialists on priority: Sond

Industries and Commerce Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond met with the state’s industrialists and businessmen yesterday at Sangrur District Industrial Chamber, located at Industrial Focal Point on Sangrur-Sunam Road.

Sond said the state government had been supporting industrialists in every possible manner and their problems were being resolved on a priority basis. He added that the policies of the government were industry-friendly and small entrepreneurs could launch their businesses by just submitting an affidavit as they would now get three years to complete the other documentation-related work.

The minister further informed that all focal points were being equipped with world-class facilities, in the first phase, focal points of five cities would be developed as role models. Sangrur MLA Narinder Kaur Bharaj and DIG Patiala Mandeep Singh Sidhu were also present on the occasion.
